I know what and how it works. You need shock treatment for these lads and the punters Build a nice compound in the town centre and pile them all in it Feed and water daily After a month reassess and release with tag on those who are deemed cured If they re offend put back in for two months Job sorted
We moved out of town in 2001 after, and as a direct result of, a crackdown on drug use on Sheffield Road. It didn't stop the problem, just moved it up towards Princess Street. When you have an 18 month old kid and start finding used needles, knives and stolen handbags in your back garden it is time to get out.
So we're blaming society and there is no thing as personal responsibility. Do people really go from prescription painkillers to deadbeats dossing about in Peel Sq off their tits on spice? A chain gang would be the best thing for em.
What a bizzare post. Each circumstance will be unique. I can admit there will have been terrible decision making on the part of some of the participants but unfortunately thats part of human nature.
Its no better up off summer lane. Even with the crackdown they had recently. Huddersfield road where the old houses are now split into flats/hmos theres always powder bags scattered around the footpath. Always see two or three every morning on my walk in. On a positive note. We dont live in sheffield. Think Barnsleys got problems....
At least we have no tab ends on the floor on the town centre due to the smoking police fines given out.
