If we have a strong qualifying campaign and don't get smashed in any friendlies I can see alot of people expecting at least a Semi spot.

Jones and Smalling are nowhere near good enough.

As squad players they’re perfectly fine. I’m not a big fan of either but most teams at this World Cup won’t have better back up

Smalling didn't even make the world cup squad.

I disagree, if you look at the best teams they have quality to come off the bench and I think one of our biggest problems this year was that we had nobody to come off the bench to make a difference.

I know he didn’t. This is about Euro 2020 & thinking Cahill won’t be around.

Hopefully Lascelles & Mawson or someone else can come through ahead of Jones & Smalling but just saying they aren’t bad as back up

In forward areas I agree. You don’t need options off the bench at the back unless there’s an injury.

Need Rashford, Loftus-Cheek to improve, Ox to come back & hopefully some more young talent as well

Ward Prowse and Sessegnon could be good

Yes managing expectationswill be difficult. The euros is often a harder tournament than the world cup.

think everyone is on the money, if we had a Modric, Kroos, Jorginho, De Bruyne style centre midfielder we would be in the mix
