What were your last 3 evening meals (can be eating out or something you cooked or had cooked for you). Curious what peoples habits are.

Usually about half 7/8. Get in from work and either go for a run or walk the dogs, get back in and shower, then food.

Between 6 and 7. Coconut chicken curry. Steak and chips. Some weird veggie concoction the missis cooked that involved aubergine that I had to pretend to like.

Been at sea this week, they call it dinner onboard but I go for my tea, we have it at 7pm, if you want that in a more naval style it’s 7pm me hearties :)

    This weeks offerings

Thursday - fillet steak, chips, peas, onion rings with chocolate angel delight for duff
Weds - we bought shoreside pizza and the chefs cooked them for us to watch footy in the mess, the minions had pork steaks or lamb shank
Tuesday - Mexican fajitas, wedges and salad with ice cream for duff

    There’s always 2 hot choices it’s not often there’s nowt you’d fancy!

What do you do then most of the time? Just take the boat out for a spin and back in again?
And yes I know its not a boat. Isn't the definition something to do with the amount of decks above sea level?

Well not very much! Watch tv, sleep, maybe have a beer :) ha only joking, I’m the ops room manager, I supervise everyone who fights the war in there, from preparation beforehand to execution of drills and skills etc, the captain right down to the young sailor all do something in there and I facilitate that!

We are often around Britain doing PR work, or training off the south coast, we get the odd run ashore here and there but nothing like the jollies of the past, work with foreign navies all the time, anyone mithering about an EU army well it’s been happening for 50 years at sea!
