Hope not... I've booked for a few games well in advance to cut costs of away days on the train.

Only on international weeks. Even then it will be Sunderland no doubt.

I think you made the mistake of thinking Sky are interested in attractive football and showing it off to their wide UK audience, when actually all they are really interested in is making money from overseas viewing.

Our game with Sunderland would have been a shoe-in for coverage were it not on a Tuesday night. They usually show whoever is top at least once and then the top four get a game each but that tends to be it for League One. The second international break might be our best chance of being screened live.

I doubt it, we didn’t when we were second top scorers in the championship & in thrilling games almost every week

I hope not , nine times out of ten when we are on we always seem to be at home which incurs a change in kick off time & the fans getting messed about .

No because in a international break we ourselves won't be playing due to all our own call ups.

Do sky make money from overseas viewing? Separate deal isn’t it? (Or is that just the prem?)

Its the very reason why Leeds are on so much. Biggest international audience outside of Prem.

TV is about making money, not about being fair. So I can see why. I don't mind our games not being moved around all the time. Weren't there some Leeds fans complaining about that at some point?

Hope not cos we always lose, and I don't want our unbeaten 100% run to end, even in February.
Or would that then be a 140% run ????

That was what I thought too although I'm happy to be corrected on that. I just assumed Leeds, Villa and the like are shown often as they have more fans. So a bigger tv audience and more money from advertising.

Isn't it about the uk audience though rather than the international one? I thought that Sky had the UK only rights and the EFL have a separate sale to overseas broadcasters (https://www.efl.com/iFollow/international-broadcasters/). Would seem strange that Sky would sell the TV rights

Outside of the premiership only Sunderland had a higher average UK audience per match than Leeds so its definitely based on UK viewers

The only way I can see it being linked to overseas viewership would be if sky get paid for the use of their cameras and broadcasting equipment so they tend to both show the same game to reduce costs? That's just a theory though

I hope not, they’re dickheads and make kick off times as bad as they possibly can for everyone.
