Apple are upping their game with products in general. I'm not a watch fan but their Apple Watch 4 out next week looks class. Can take your ECG, ring an ambulance for you if they can't track your pulse and can contact your next of kin. You can save your ECG results to show any heart defect to your doctor. 500 quid for what can save lives. Anyone with a dicky ticker should get one.
I would never get an android, I care about my security too much, and I know first hand what someone can do very easily on android. I did it myself on a test device, gathered all emails. text messages, contacts, phone records etc. without any feedback on the phone whatsoever. all from just visiting a website. They might have got better recently, but I dont trust it at all.
Correct, but you would never be able to achieve what i managed to do on an android phone to an iPhone. No way whatsoever. Trust me, I've tried. Even the changes that google made a few years ago is akin to stapling a picture of a safe over a hole in the wall where you keep your money. Looks secure, is not if you poke it a little.
People don't realize how unsecure Android is if you're not EXTREMELY careful. People care more about price than security.
Android isn’t a phone ......It’s a mobile operating system of which there are numerous manufacturers who utilise this OS providing hundreds of varying devices and multiple cheaper price points. iOS = Apple Android = Samsung 46.8 % Huawei 9.0 % Xiaomi 6.5 % Oppo 4.3 % Motorola 4.2 % LG 3.8 % Vivo 2.5 % Lenovo 2.4 % Sony 1.9 % Asus 1.3 % HTC 1.1 % Tecno 1.0 % Alcatel 0.9 % ZTE 0.8 % Amlogic 0.7 % Infinix 0.6 % Itel 0.6 % global 0.5 % Amazon 0.4 % Micromax 0.4 %
I can't believe people still ride the apple hype train. Over priced, fragile and about 2 years behind other manufacturers.
I would expect a £1000+ mobile device to last you more than two years. And regarding apple being secure, tell that to the hundreds of celebrities who had their iClouds accessed a few years ago.
I genuinely do have a Nokia 3310. It's ace. And, no, I'm not a pensioner. I don't have my Mrs keeping tabs on me via Bookface (root of all evil) and complete strangers knowing my every move. I don't crap myself every time I brush against a wall in case my £500 delicate device has had it's screen cracked. And I am definitely not wide open to having my bank account emptied or identity stolen. Simple, cheap, reliable and worry free. Believe me, the past is the future...
Would have been much more difficult if Apple had implemented mandatory 2FA years ago. They wouldnt have been able to get to the pics without also having the apple device in their hands...
