Complete pricks. Didn't see the trouble where one of our fans got arrested but apparently Stewards were rough with him. At full time at front one steward wouldn't let a Disabled bloke through. He was on a crutch and steward was telling him to walk up the steps as he wasn't allowed through that gangway. He finally got through after a bit and the steward squared upto him
Obviously something has gone on before this video started filming for the man to be so worked up. Sometimes things happen where people do get aggressive and lose their head that life.
From a post on Facebook he was getting personal abuse from Cov fans and reacted to it. So as ever the stewards reacted to the away fan and did nowt about the provocation.
No understanding of any context here. Is he being violent? No. Aggressive? No idea. Acutely agitated yes but why? One cannot come to any conclusions unless one knows the full picture.
I often wonder why Stewards dive in. He was hardly likely to get to the Coventry fans was he? So the situation would likely diffuse itself. That said if he was just angry at some Coventry fans that doesn't excuse getting physical with the Stewards either. Goading from opposition fans I just find funny, in most cases if you walked put of the stadium and saw the same person they would likely say nothing.
But people don't just kick off for no reason the bloke hardly looks like he has come for bother. Maybe the stewards should of been trying to find out why the man was aggressive instead of just kicking him out. Allegedly he was been verbally abused by home fans the stewards should of kicked them out too or is that acceptable.
I was merely saying that in the video of him being restrained the stewards are not being rough and the fan is being aggressive. They could certainly have been a hell of a lot more rough. I have no idea if their decision to speak to him/kik him out was justified or not. The thread was stating they were rough with him. I just showed a video that shows that on the video at least they were extremely restrained when faced with his aggression
But say for instance you are been abused at a game by opposing fans and some say coins were thrown. You kick off and get aggressive as you are well within your right to. Then the stewards come over and tell you to leave you are obviously going to feel hard done by abused and kicked out while the home fans are okay to do what they want.
I didn't say that you aren't. I said that the stewards aren't being rough considering the aggression they were faced with
I suppose calling the lad who travels all over the country supporting the reds "our fat fan" made you feel a lot better...get a ******* life.
Well to be fair at the start of the video 2 stewards are pulling him over from behind and he is been aggressive with the 3rd steward who is infront of him. Think I'd be aggressive if I had to bloke trying to drag me over from behind and one infront thinking about getting involved do you expect him to be happily dragged to the ground.
I genuinely think that was some crap autocorrect again. Apologies it was supposed to just say fan. Although erm yeah... But no it wasn't intended
You have to remember stewards are in the same clique as coppers and traffic wardens they all had a hard time at school trying to get their revenge. Hope the feel good about dragging a football fan from behind to the ground.
Jesus christ. With such sweeping generalisation and such obvious hatred for authority im out. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
