Me, it’ll be a great day.
Sorry, did you mean because of the wedding?
I meant because Friday is breakfast sandwich day

An initial google search into the civil list etc suggests she gets nothing from the taxpayer.
    Nor should she.
If that's actually the case I don't get what the story is.

It's suggested that the wedding will generate at least 10 times more income than the cost to the taxpayer .

How?, and to who? Apparently we are picking up the security costs.
Nowt against the senior Royals as such, I get that they generate a lot of interest for the country, but this lot? its essentially a posh wedding thats all.

Then let the posh gits finance any expence themselves. From what I read this uppercrust jamboree is going to cost the tax payer a fortune in security alone.
It's time the royalty was done away with. All selfish parasites.

It's an 11 o'clock ceremony.....did the police make them bring the kick off forward ?

Why do we have to pay for the policing and security ? Football clubs have to stump up.

And if it adds so much to the economy why are the figures only ever reported before the act and we never see any hard evidence of this magical boost after it.

Her Mum has probably got a nice little earner going, offering access to the Royal couple for a few 100k.

Hey, you said it so you provide a link to your evidence.

High end estimates put an annual figure of upto £350m for the taxpayer to keep the Royal family funded, although general consensus appears to be around 69 pence per year per tax payer.

Then what does the country get in return?

In 2017 consultancy firm Brand Finance published that the monarchy’s annual contribution to the UK economy to be around £1.8bn a year, drawing in an additional £550m of tourism revenues a year, and an increase in trade, from the Royal Family acting as ambassadors, supposedly worth £150m a year.

I think we actually do get good value
