Moncur running them ragged. But I think fortunate to go in ahead. I thought their disallowed goal was level. The decision after by the same linesman as they broke down our left (again) was just awful.

Best game I've seen from McGeehan, but could still do with looking forward sometimes not back.

Ben Williams has really struggled with the conditions and it was a poor penalty to give away.

I would have definitely taken 2-1 at half time once I saw we were playing against the wind.

We look very incisive going forward, but I'm scared every time they attack. Obviously the wind isn't helping. Another goal after half time would be extremely welcome.

In my opinion the back four have looked shaky all season. It's just that the midfield and forwards have worked so hard and played so well, the opposition rarely put them under pressure. We've got a great defence but it starts with our forwards. That first half Luton played with the wind, so could bypass our midfield to a certain extent.

Pinnock and Lindsay are quite solid Ive been happy with these two. Full back has been a letdown, Cavare is more of a winger. Hes just too risky as a out and out RB. Both left backs are properly inconsistent, and its too early to say about Williams. But I think having Dougall (international class on cheap) playing in front has been a revelation.

Don't think we ever look in complete control. It's the nature of a high energy type of game. It's exciting to watch, but you rarely see anyone put their foot on the ball and take the sting out of the game. It's more stick your finger in the electricity socket kind of stuff. Not knocking it, there's some talent out there but I don't see much composure.

    This.

    Great for the heart rate.

The two full backs really push on so the back four is often a back 3

That is how the team plays though. The width is from the fullbacks. The midfield is tight.

Two midfielders hold back to cover the wide players.

Bizarre that no one here seems to be mentioning how bad Walton was. Barely had anything to do but made a mess of it all.

He should’ve cost us a goal with the dodgy offside call.

Then there was the second Luton goal & he dropped one from a corner early on

More bizarre how many posts slating the (mostly inexperienced, covering) players after yet another win. I’ll say it again we have some of the worst fans in the country.

You missed his kicking for a reight assassination of the lad. Course Davies has never made these mistakes. Jeez man Thought tha were better than that.

    Indeed.

In fact our starting eleven today was the youngest in League 1 all season and, at around 22.6 years, the only one below 23.

Not bad then to beat one of the form teams in the division.

Django appears to be stating that Walton was poor.

Which in my opinion also he was.

Is he not allowed to say so?

I’m a bad fan for saying someone had a shocker? Bloody hell.

I’m not one of these fans that pretend everything’s great if we win & that everyone’s **** when we lose. I give honest appraisals.

I’ve seen Moncur & others slated yet I’d not seen anyone mention that Walton had a shocker.

If it was Davies or if we’d lost loads would’ve been on here slating him. That’s what I find bizarre.

His kicking was good. Especially the chip out to either Cavare / Pinnock midway through the second half.

Of course Davies has, that’s more of what I was getting at, if it was Davies there would’ve been loads on here slating him

I'm more interested in the bigger picture i.e. whether we have built a strong enough squad to achieve our goals over the season. We are having to play people who aren't good enough yet. This point needs to be made. It's a criticism of the club not the player.

Walton was poor but you had a go at me on another thread for saying the same about Williams.
