We've the best defence, won 4-0 three times already and today beat one of the better sides with a fair few inexperienced kids and with a handful of lads missing. No pleasing some folk if they still don't think we are good.

The one that says we aren’t much compared to them because they have injured players to come back, do we not have injured players? They also say that the players are gelling still, do we not have players still getting used to Stendel’s way of playing and finally they say how they have January to enhance them, do other teams not have a January transfer window? I think some of them are doing the typical “big team” ***** that some fans do, I think we’ll be in similar positions throughout the season.

what stands out to me is their fans know naff all about any other teams outside of Sunderland. They're the only ones with injuries, new players and a new manager. I'd love them to finish 7th, on goal diff.
I think they've been largely complementary of us when I've looked in this season. I think one or two are looking for chinks in our armour more than anything. I was talking to one of the sky blokes today and he is a Sunderland fan. He said he had been very impressed with what he'd seen this season.
Coming from fans who are perennial experts in failure and relegation , I'm not even remotely arsed. I smell HUGE amounts of fear in this division. THEY ARE TERRIFIED OF BARNSLEY.
Had 2 £10 bets with a Sunderland fan we'd beat them home then away. He watched the game and was unimpressed. Sure.
well we did last season that could be argued was a team of players much more costly and higher level than ours. So much so they spent a fortune getting rid of em this season. I hope their coach underestimates us too.
