Another win another clean sheet 3rd in table but let's bring in a right back who has hardly played a competitive game in 2 years great idea.

Fair enough our right back yesterday played the pass to moore who flicked on and Woodrow scored. He the put a ball in not long after that was almost turned in and we kept a clean sheet. Id of rather we had tried to keep yiadom than bring a player who has hardly played for 2 year.I just wasn't sure why you would bring up a post from over a year old suggesting we signed a ex player who we can't afford but if it was a joke fair enough.

I did like bree mind I think he made the wrong career choice to go to villa. But his bank balance probley says otherwise.

Yes, the lad needs a move, but he wouldn't be on our budget.

He's played 22 games for Villa in all competitions. I wouldn't call that hardly playing.

Bree made an excellent move. Went from £20k a week from about £1500-2000 on a five year deal. If he gets a career ending injury tomorrow he’s made for life.

To be fair to the lad when he joined Villa there was only an ageing Hutton in front of him, it’s not his fault El Mohammady signed a few months later & has been first choice.

Where it’s gone wrong is he should’ve had a loan spell by now, he needs to play whether it’s at Villa or elsewhere.

Agree a good move financially but when you only play 14 games in 2 year your career stagnates.
Villa are a massive club they want promotion I don't think they signed him to be 1st choice they signed him as a prospect to hopefully progress and eventually be starting week in week out but like you say he hasn't had a loan move and hasn't progressed at his age he needs to be playing competitive games. But 19k a week for 5 years so he is sound even if he doesnt kick a ball madness.

Plus he can see out his contract and would have no problem getting a 2/3 year deal at 5 odd grand a week at a solid L1/lower Championship side afterwards. He’s set for life.

Yeah he is but I had expected big thing from bree I thought he could have potentially been a premiership regular the way he was progressing. Hope the lad does get a loan move and some regular competitive football when he ledt I don't think he was a top end championship full back but he was progressing really well he would of been better having another season of regular championship football. looks like he has played a few times for villas 23s this season.

Wikipedia quotes league appearances only. If you notice it says underneath "* Senior club appearances and goals counted for the domestic league only". Here's the Soccerbase link for you. Add all the columns up. HTH.

With the link you have just shared it backs up what wiki says he has made 14 starts and 7 sub appearances in 2 years. 10 league 3 league cup starts and 1 fa cup so 14 starts in nearly 2 years HTH

It's 15 starts + 7 substitute appearances actually. Add them together and he's played 22 times for Villa...like I said.

The other start your on about said other so not league or cup so I didn't include it as I wasn't sure it was a competitive game so 14 STARTS like I said and 7 sub appearances I'm not sure coming off the bench for 5 minutes Is good for someone's football progression.
