Look like a proper team with a lot of future stars. I don’t like the fact they’re playing in this competition as much as anyone, but they’re not schoolboys and no reason why we should be battering them.

The best youngsters in world football, they'll be a frightening force in a few years with what they are developing. They're taking kids from our young uns under 7s team.

But there are some on here without that modicum. City were very sharp going forward and we weren’t as good as I thought we would be. Good game of football but I am glad I am at home watching it and not facing an hour on the A1

If Woodrow had scored that penalty we'd have won.

I thought so at the time but, in hindsight, City were just as capable of getting two more goals to make it 4-4. They proved with their faultless penalty taking that they were mature beyond their years.
It's true that they should not even be in this competition, along with the other U21s, but I wouldn't back against them reaching the final. So that will be a couple of hundred or so parents and friends of the teams behind their goal!

I didn't go last night. I didn't even know the final score until this morning.

Just looking at the stats, yet again we easily had the more possession and shots on target, but didn't win.

How didn't we win this game? [IMG]
