"We are delighted to continue our commitment to keeping football affordable for families and the next generation" That's a lot of money from half as many games. Hasn't it been sub 200 in recent years for a adult half ticket?
Well is starts at £235, not £270 and no-one is being forced. If that’s too much for some then there have been plenty of opportunities to watch cheaply: Luton and Notts a tenner, and three checkatrade games for a fiver. It’s also cheaper than the flexi tickets that were on sale last two years, which were £115 for five matches I think. Albeit that was far a higher standard of opposition.
I think the figure is a little skewed because we've only had 10 of the 23 home games. However, I'm still very disappointed with the lack of incentive to pay money up front this season. First there was the flexi-ticket no-show, now this. It means I'll only be making one or two visits, when I could have probably got to another half a dozen games.
Would love to know the logic of why upper tiers have gone up 9p per game, lower tiers and ponty about a quid, and family stand nearly £3. Team is currently playing very well, promotion is a realistic prospect, but aye, £18 a game is too much.
I only go to away games really but was really considering getting one of these and the old man for Christmas, I already know that i can’t make the Sunderland game due to midweek so not really worth buying up front now with the pricing structure we’ve come up with. A little gutted really but might as well just see how I feel and pay on the gate. Stick to my away games.
He doesn't go to any home games. So he doesn't give any money to his own club. Might as well just groundhop and watch different sides every week.
