I thought that some of the performances of certain players would have answered that for you ! It has for me too many flatter to deceive, it’s no consolation knowing g when the goings good players come forward but shy/hide when the going gets tough .
Says a lot about football players & management teams when things are not going well. Do they dig in and grind out results? Do they pull together and become a solid unit difficult to beat? Do they fight for each other and all associated with the club? Do they sneak a point or even a win, even though the performances are poor? Are the answers to the above Yes?
