I'll bet a tenner Lee tomlin gets ten goals by end of season. It's such as him we need if it wasn't for this stupid policy. Luton Portsmouth Peterborough all added to squads today. Wake up gg and stendel. Get shut of fryers hedges isgrove jackson and get a proper cover goal keeoer in coz greatorex is untested.
The same lee tomlin posh signed as a under 25 from non league. Probley the only reason he is dropping to league 1 to help out the club that gave him a chance.
Here's a bit about Tomlin. https://www-walesonline-co-uk.cdn.a...cardiff-city-players-salaries-weekly-15230074 Did I read somewhere that the posh owner is paying a chunk of his wages out of his own pocket whilst on loan? Big gamble to try and get promoted.
BBC says Andrew Nelson, striker from Sunderland currently on loan at Darlington. Scored two in each of his first three games. Another Bradley Ash, I would think for the development squad, but looks a reasonable prospect at that level.
Adam Oxley @adam3oxley 3h3 hours ago I understand reports in the north east suggesting that #BarnsleyFC are interested in signing 21yo Sunderland striker Andrew Nelson are not accurate. Nelson is currently on loan at Darlington, alongside Reds youngsters Will Smith & Romal Palmer
Strong rumour that Joe Williams can probably leave Everton for circa £1 million. He's currently on loan at Bolton who can't afford him. Apparently the large dwarf who manages Bristol City, is keen on him. Given that we know a lot about the lad, is he someone we could look to bring in to plug the Potts gap.?
I'd love to have williams but he is in no way similar to Potts. Plus he'll have much better offers from the championship.
If we are looking for someone who is absolutely top notch at passing the ball to our centre backs, breaking up our attacks and slowing everything down then I say go for it
We offered them 1million last season and they didn't want to sell at the time. Diffrent player to Potts but if he had a choice between us and Bristol at this moment in time I think he would chose Bristol.
If Potts is worth £2m then Williams is worth more than that as he’s twice the player of Potts. Different position but I really don’t understand the vitriol that Williams got. He was far better than Gardner who I thought was pony, and maybe they shouldn’t have played together to get the best out of Williams. At the beginning of the season Williams was our best player, he did go through a sticky patch before getting injured.
I agree I didn't mind Williams he had some good games for us and some awful ones as to be expected been a young 21 year old his best game was against Sunderland at home for us. Him and Gardner was a awful partnership in midfield.
