many are going on (myself included) about our activities in the January window. But if we can retain the present squad then do we really need new faces?

    Exactly what I've been thinking.
After yesterday I found it hard to add to or replace the good players we have. I wouldn't want to upset the rhythm there is in the side, the last thing you'd want is some smart alec coming in and spoiling what we have.
We do need cover in a couple of positions but not at the expense of pissing off our current players.

An experienced Centre-Back to take some of the weight off Lindsay perhaps?

    YES

We need to be bringing in 4or5 in every transfer window, this month we should be looking to be signing replacements for Moore, Woodrow, Mama, Pinnock, and Mowatt, they are the next 4or5 to be cashed in on, as they get towards the end of their current deals, so now is the time to get in replacements. Then they’ll stand more chance of instantly stepping up to the first team when players leave, we can’t afford the finished article, we have to develop young players, that development should be starting at least 6 months before they are needed.

One or two (not five) wingers would be great.
Someone who can beat a player and put good crosses in.
    A Hammill type.

We have good strikers that would thrive even more if the supply to them was better.

If we bring in a news player can it be Olivia Wayne who used to be on Sky Sports News.

Of course we need new players this month. Better now than in the summer when players who have proven before they aren't championship quality, will be expected to step up again.

A goalkeeper to cover Davies’ Wales callups is needed, especially if walton is nowhere near fit.

Do we know what actually is wrong with Jack Walton?

If we have a 'News' spreadsheet I would hope Victoria Fritz is on it. Would make a great signing. A real fox in the box.

Cruciate ligament I think, probably a season long job. Real shame as I though he looked good when he came in.

Another striker as back up to Moore and Woodrow to cover injury, suspension or loss of form. We have no one at present who’s at the required level.
