    The rumour was started by some wazzock Transfer Rumours‏ @rumours134 Jan 23 on twitter with zero credibility who seems to want to spout crap about Barnsley and Donny Rovers. The same person is now posting the Moore rumour as if it's breaking news. The accuracy of previous tweets is about 1% and that's because they're posted after it's a done deal. The fact that so many people have gone into rage/ despair/ panic/ * delete as applicable is bonkers.

    Pinnock will leave to higher placed club sometime in the next 12 months. It might be this week, it might be August, I've no idea, but unless he gets injured, he will leave. That will happen because he is a young player who can play at a higher level. Cauley Woodrow, will probably do the same. That is not because we want them to or because the club lacks ambition, it's because we're in Division One, and they can play higher. Same happens at Portsmouth, Sunderland, Luton, Charlton.

    People need to chill out a bit and stop believing the crap that some idiot with nothing better to do is stirring up on Twitter.

    I think it was one of Mike Harding's original words, when he used to sing and tell funny stories during the same set. In his "Rochdale Cowboy" days if I remember rightly.

    The problem is with these rumours is that it starts unease and puts ideas into other clubs minds.

    The player will be wondering if other clubs are watching/coming in for him. The team will be wondering about their futures. The fans melt down, etc.

    The other clubs will look to see what they’re missing out on, may even put a speculative offer, or may look at the rest of the team. As in their minds this kind of thing confirms our ambition and ability to keep our player.

    So bobby bull **** sits back and watches as all hell breaks loose, just because he created a rumour. It really boils my piss!
