Hopefully Moore's injury will prove not to be serious and we'll have him back playing, but if not? Victor and Woody up front in a 4 4 2? Woody up top on his tod? Didn't work well at Oxford. Brown used as a striker? What are everyone's thoughts or preferences?
I'd go with young Victor, thus keeping the changes to a bare minimum. However, I'll back Daniel's decision no matter what and especially over self-appointed social media 'experts'!
Got to keep 2 up front, hopefully Keiffer wont be out too long but it could give Victor a run in the side.
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't we play like that (Bahre off Woodrow) during the holiday period when Moore was out of the side and it worked very well. The link up play was excellent and we moved the ball forward from back to front so quickly. I'd be happy to try that and if it doesn't work there's always big Vic to bring on!
We did and I agree we looked very good, it has since not worked it other games. Thinking home I'd be tempted with either Victor or Borwn up top and keep the shape.
We should have signed someone in the window even on loan as back up. There was always a risk that an injury might occur and cause us problems.
I'm more than happy for Bahre to have a run, we will see the best of him playing just off woodrow and threading balls through for Brown and Mama to run in on. Let kieffer recover properly and come back strong and ready for the run in
Its obvious that Stendel doesn't rate Adeboyejo.. Simply because he never plays him even when we only have one fit striker.
Forgive me for pi$$ing on the parade here but if Moore is out for any serious length of time, we’re in the Play offs at best.
Remember when Moore was injured last time we won 4 out of 5. I can understand some cautiousness but that’s just throwing in the towel already.
Completely agree fella, I understand the club's reluctance to rely on lots of loans, however, in certain situations they can be hugely beneficial and this was one of those. We should have brought someone in to really push Woodrow, Moore and Adeboyejo but also to provide the necessary cover for injuries and we failed to do that. Luton supplemented their squad with 3 loan players on transfer deadline day in addition to Monccur on a permanent. That should be more than enough to see them take one of the top two spots barring a collapse which seems unlikely as they have the easiest run in of the top four sides. We just have to hope that Woodrow doesn't pick up an injury now or we will be in a bit of a mess.
