I think we'll be ok. No team in League One has drawn more games than Sunderland. In any event, I think we'll be second on Saturday evening.
Possibly. I'm hoping Blackpool can do us a favour in the week but there's certainly a lot of pressure piling up on Sunderland to get maximum points. Plus they still have to come here. Deep down they must be nervous.
You`d have thought they would have enough to win both games this week but I`m pretty sure we will probably drop some points when we don`t expect to by the season`s end.
Under Andy Ritchie in 2006 we had that horror run that saw us drop from 2nd after Bournemouth away right down to seventh. Then scrape into play-offs against Walsall on the final day. Anything can happen.
Genuinely think they’ll drop points from one of the matches. Pressure is starting to build on them from the press and the fans who are demanding more attacking football from the team and this could have a negative effect if Jack Ross tries to appease them and strays from his tactics.
What amazes me is how Luton keep on winning. Surely there's a banana skin waiting for them soon. This team is the best in the division by some distance, if there was any justice we'd be points clear by now not wallowing* in second. *Wallowing was irony
Jack Ross is coming in for stick off some fans for being negative with his tactics. Says playing two up top won't make any difference. Already at logger heads it might seem.
The players are under huge pressure this week, the arrogance of their fans thinking they should be steam rolling teams 9-0 every week cant be good for em. Especially on Friday when the cameras roll up, that adds a lot more pressure. I wouldn't rule Blackpool getting a result tomorrow they've hit a decent bit of form.
A third of the season left to go. Sunderland have had a bad spell but are still very much in the mix. Last 10 games Luton and us have had the best form in the league by some way. All could change by the end of the season. If the odds are anything to go on it’s Luton and us to go up. Lots of football to be played and the simple thing is that it is in our own hands.
Sunderland haven't scored more than one goal in a league match since 15th December. Beats me how they're still in the mix. I'm not losing any sleep over them. Hopefully their season will finally fall to bits this week. Blackpool to nick it 1-0 and then Accrington to give them a footballing lesson on Friday. Famous last words....
Let's not count our chickens until the fat lady sings... There's a long way to go yet.... Until then I'm staying on the wall sat watching... Care to join me anybody and not get carried away
So that I don`t get too giddy I keep telling myself that we have a hiccup to come when we least expect it. Trying to keep myself grounded.
