I was thinking same about Wycombe. If someone can beat you once they can do it again. Be no walk in the park. Atmosphere was dead against Rochdale because everyone expected a cake walk. That worked against us but we eked out a win and all was forgotten . Plymouth at home we were shocking too. Take nothing for granted.

Yes, I was at that one. Only time I’ve ever been before this season. Scrappy first half goal from Glyn Riley settled it. Think he’d also got the winner at Exeter the week before too.

Yes, at their place they packed out their half of the pitch and it was nigh on impossible to pass our way through it.

Every goal kick, Davies would roll it out to either Pinock or Lindsey, who were allowed unchallenged to bring the ball up to the half way line and then blocked by crowds of players..

I imagine they'll adopt similar tactics at Oakwell by parking the bus and trying to hit us on the break.

Over to you Daniel & Dale.......

Yes, the low point of our season. We've learnt our lessons from that sticky period (as good coaches/teams do) and come on leaps and bounds since.

Also I think I'm right in saying our pitch is a bit wider, so more room to manoeuvre them around.

Here are the pitch sizes. So it's an extra 5 * 7 yards to play with. It may not sound much I guess, but it's 1, 110 sq yards of space, equating to a 15% bigger pitch, so it'll make a difference.

    Barnsley (110 * 75):

I know Portsmouth's form has dropped off but with that game being the 3rd in a week I just have a feeling they make sneak a lucky win over us. Anyone know what our record is like at Fratton Park?[/QUOTE]

They have three in a week too, so no particular advantage.

I had a look at their record last night since we beat them - it’s immense - and it was pretty immense for the 10 or so games prior to losing to us!

Hats off to the hatters, they have been outstanding this season. Perhaps they are due a wobble but their run in looks fairly easy
