It helps, but given we still have Sunderland to play, we already had it in our own hands. Winning everything would've already mathematically guaranteed us promotion since last week (or even before?).
So long as we just focus on what we need to do we will be in the top two come the end of the season. "We have nothing to fear except fear itself!!" Which famous person said that BTW!!
"what's in there" "only that what you take in" who said that clue...... a remarkable likeness to him bear I do I
finger trouble... but its a wonderful Place that Barnsley are in right now. its totally in our hands now, and I believe we have the players to make it so. Barring a major injury/disciplinary incident , we can get there.
I think we’d be ok if we got draws against Portsmouth and Sunderland then they’ve made no points up on us, beating them would be far better though
I'm enjoying watching this group of lads. We're playing wonderful winning football, scoring a lot of goals (some spectacular ones, too) and even when we're not at the top of our game, we're still grinding out results. Long may it continue.
as you know it's a bit difficult for me to get up there these days....perhaps that's a good thing and they could do without "The curse of the Dragon"........ as you witnessed at Wembley . But in your opinion do we have an "Achilles heel" anywhere ?
that's good to know. What I plan to do is wait until the Reds have a pivotal game which will be the make or break game.... and then I will attend..... can I sit by you ?
hopefully we will be over the line by the last game, be it auto's or Play-offs. Bristol is a stones throw from me and so hopefully I will go to that. Rovers ground is quaint and the last time I went to that venue I found their fans really warm and friendly..... unlike Bristol City fans.
A bit pedantic I know but does`t football always rely on relying on other teams` results to a certain extent?
