Why no shots of anyone in training?

MarioKempes has posted what Dale Tonge a club employee said in a club press conference.

    Really?
    See the above.

Poor journalism not to come out and ask 'what injury has he suffered' so I totally agree.

As per my earlier post, my sense is the same as @Jay ’s and for precisely the same reasons

For what it's worth (probably nothing) Moore was walking around the West Stand on Tuesday night. Seemed in good spirits.

I don't know what a fractured skull looks like, in terms of the toll it takes on the individual, but he wasn't at home resting, at least.

There's no reason he would be home. He should be perfectly fine The only problem with a simple fracture is, until it's healed, the area is much weaker which rules you out of most sport.

Obviously, if there's nothing wrong with him, he'd be walking around the west stand in good spirits too.

I hope he's fine, both on a personal level and because I think we need him and he's a very good striker at this level.

If it is worse than letting on Maybe they don’t want to give other clubs a boost by saying he’s. Out for season. While people think he just has concussion we can leave it a few weeks before announcing real reason

Piece in today's Chronicle simply confirms that Kieffer will miss the trip
to Portsmouth after suffering concussion caused by a clash of heads in
the win at Gillingham. It goes on to say, that the Club are following the
two week recovery protocol, which saw him miss the games against Wycombe
and Burton, but he could be available for the game away at Southend.!
In a separate piece, Dale Tonge says that having come off the bench
three times to get 42 minutes under his belt, this weekends game at
Portsmouth could be ideal time to give pacy wingman Jordan Green his
first start. Given the way teams have been putting men behind the ball,
I agree with that view. He's got the guile and pace to hit the touchline and
get the ball in the middle for our front men to hopefully capitalise.

We really missed him on tuesday, id even say saturday too. We should have been getting another forward in even if it was a loan for the rest of the season until this kid from Boro comes. We dont look anywhere near as good with one up top and the less I see of Mike Bahre the better as far as I’m concerned.

All papers report from the Thursday press conference. Just watch that (Andy Giddings or whoever is doing it for Radio Sheff usually post their interview part of it on their twitter feed) as it gives all the detail without any spin and slant of the paper journos, or the star in particular who just rehash that presser for most of the week.

I'd like to see us adopt a different style and play Adeboyejo alongside Woodrow and give Bahre a rest. The way Mcgeehans playing at the minute we're not going to get out manoeuvred in midfield.

I just dont see the point in Bahre, gave him time and he’s not improved. Has a nice little turn on the halfway line once a game and thats your lot. Tends to get in the way of others 2 or 3 times a game too.

He seems lost like he doesn't know where he's supposed to play or his role within the team. Looks like a link up man to me. That said I think after a positive start Kenny Dougall is no good off the bench and isn't needed at this level. I don't think at League 1 level you need an anchor in midfield. You just need the centre backs to push up like they are and one midfielder to drop deep and push on like they are doing.

Dougall became the best thing since sliced bread during the course of his injury. He was pretty poor leading upto it after a promising start and I havent seen anything since to say he’s improved again. Not sure what Scowens playing time is like but IF we did get up I’d be straight onto him to see what his wage demands would be.

Dougall played very well when he came on for the second half at Wimbledon. Most of our moves went through him and score went from 1-1 at ht to 4-1 at ft . Reyt laiker when he's on song

Its funny how we typically see a player at their best once they are regularly playing and in a settled team.

That is definitely the case with Mcgeehan. He should never have been farmed out on loan. He took the can for one poor game against Cardiff. That wasn't his fault. All in the past now though.

Hedges needs that regular game time. Was my tip for best player in the league at the beginning of the season, may have been a little OTT with that prediction but I think he’s capable of it.

    Agree

Fear we’ll let him go on a free and he’ll exceed everything we’ve seen

He’ll probably go Luton and start looking like Messi

He looked good on Tuesday night got some good crosses in and looked full of running. Would like to see him given a chance up front though.

Yep I agree, said it for a while he has all the attributes to play upfront. Tall, quick, dribbling, finishing. Played well tuesday but for some reason tends to be happy sitting deep, whether thats his instructions I dont know.
