I reckon we'll know more at 11:30 on Saturday morning. No point in releasing any concrete news before then. Why help our opponents in their preparation?
It's press day so we might know more later. Personally I wish the club would just keep it under their hat.
I think these German coaches (Winkler was the same) are more canny in revealing to the opposition who might be fit or unfit for an upcoming game. Probably see it as an extra tool in their armoury. Hoping for a pleasant surprise and for Moore to be on the bench on Saturday.
Devastating news for us but the blokes health is the important thing. Down to Daniel to come up with a Plan B that works now.
Maybe all those on here who were quick to slate and discredit the 2 guys who originally said it was more serious than just concussion will be quick enough to admit they were wrong? Probably not I think
I wonder what the issue is? I know how he got injured but it seemed like he was ok and would be back after some rest after a concussion. It must be serious to write off the season at this stage!
So that's both players who were involved in the incident out for the season. Fractions of seconds can alter the future.
Tonge was posed the question if there was any chance he could be out longer than this season, and he replied that he'll be fine for the summer. He was also asked what the injury specifically was and he refused to answer, saying he was being constantly assessed and that the situation was changing so he couldn't name what the injury was.
