Especially taking into account the players we had missing. We weren't at the races in the first half, although the early injury to Dougall certainly didn't help matters. Pinnock, Lindsay & Davies (my MOTM) were outstanding, in my opinion. But I must give a special mention to Fryers who totally nullified the threat of Mallik Wilks to the point where Rovers substituted him.
I thought we should've had a penalty when Pinnock was pulled back. However our unbeaten run continues and now have had clean sheets in the last six games.
Not our best performance by any stretch of the imagination, but another point further away from Sunderland.

Couldn't agree more. Patched up side showed real character and could have nicked it. Donny are one of the better teams in this league.

Tbh I did not think the first half was as bad as some believe. We certainly had one very good chance to score but for a good save from the keeper.
    Hard game. Draw right result.

What I find encouraging is how versatile the players are. Williams took a while to settle but as others have said, second half he was much better. Did two players make their full debuts tonight, plus Williams back after injury and out of position, plus Fryers not having played for months? I think 8 points from 4 games without key players is pretty good.

Summed up well, Kev. Can’t really add to it other than to say that if Villa concede a goal tomorrow we will have the best defensive record in the EFL.

With Browny and Cam back next week, a week to recharge the batteries, I think we’ve come out of a very tough week very well.

    It’s going to the wire.

We would all have taken this scenario in August.

What a fantastic, exciting couple of months ahead of us.

This is true. We haven't conceded in six(!) games but we're still losing ground. Just shows how strong the top of this league is. With first choice players to come back, I'm optimistic that we'll make it.

Also, if we lose Adam Davies, it'll be a crying shame. He was fantastic tonight.

It’s astounding how strong we are defensively considering how attacking we play.

Stendel is an outstanding manager - love the way we play and how he encourages us to play so high up the pitch. It takes balls to play like that

I thought the Dougall injury gave Stendell the opportunity to plug the whole at left back, without the injury he may well have left it to Haif time to re jig it as not to knock the young uns confidence.

We said same at half time. You know what you're going to get with Donny, and to be fair we turned it around in the second half and were much more competitive.

I think that given our injuries and suspensions, we've done ok to come through these 3 games unbeaten.

A week to get players rested and to get McGeehan and Brown back into the team.

I looked at the stats at half time and we still had almost 60% possession.
