With Moore and Dougall out for the season, how do you think we should line up? Adebayejo showed last night (imo) that he isn't ready to start, and I think we've looked better with Bähre in the side - so prefer 4-5-1/4-3-3 to 4-4-2. Would go with:

    Davies
Cavaré Pinnock Lindsay Pinillos (if fit)
    McGeehan Mowatt
    Brown Bähre Thiam
    Woodrow

I'd really worry for us if anything were to happen to either of our centre-halves or Woodrow.

We have Jackson to come in if needed but if Woodrow was out we really would be in bother

It's the partnership between Lindsay and Pinnock though, it's come on leaps and bounds over the course of the season

Very true but so had the partnership between Dougall and mowatt or moore and woodrow.

Plus in the worst case scenario Jackson is a more than able centre back. We have very little in terms of direct replacement for woodrow though.

That's our team but from now on he needs to give and share the 3 subs game time in the last 20minhtes between Styles for Bahre, Green for Thiam, Hedges for Brown, Williams x2 either full back, Jackson Centre half cover, Vic for Woodrow and U23 is it Wolfe for cm. These players will need to play and step up in a pressured run in, they will be needed and have to be good enough so do need some game time so they can slot straight in.

After the last week the starting 11 now picks itself none of the others in our squad are ready yet maybe except Jackson and B Williams but they will all need to be.

That’s a good point or even worse if he got injured.

I’m sure he never wants to sit out a game but we don’t have any option of ever been able to give him a rest unless we play Victor upfront by himself.

We could play Brown up front. It’s where he spent most of his time in the U23’s.
Though I think the Right Mid is his best position we have several others that can play there

He's unlikely to get blows to the head in a gym in Dubai.

I doubt someone with a fractured skull would be training in a gym. And I think he should be around the lads not piss off to Dubai.

Out of interest why can't you exercise your legs and arms if you've injured your head?

You can. It's activities that put you at risk of receiving a further blow to your head that must be avoided. Like football for instance.

You probably can I doubt he would be doing anything against doctors advice. I thought we had a new state of the art gym at the club? The Southend game the commentators said kieffer moore is out for the season but he is still around the squad every day and a big presence around the players this wasn't true.
Cameron and brown should have gone out for 3 weeks while they were suspended.

I'd give Victor another go. Although he was quiet on Friday night, he got very little service, he battled well and didn't actually do anything wrong. If he's good enough for a start, he's good enough for another and we're not going to see the best from him until he's had a few games. The alternative is Bahre, who always looks better when coming on as a sub than when starting.

    Davies
Cavare Pinnock Lindsay Pinillos (if fit)
    Brown McGeehan Mowatt Thiam
    Victor Woodrow

Whatever formation we play, Woodrow needs to be the furthest forward. He's played far too deep in the last two games.

I’ve said exactly this. He’s the best player we’ve got at putting the ball in the back of the net, therefore we need him to be as close to it as possible in my opinion.

The formation in the original post would help this. Thiam, Bahre and Brown behind Woodrow with McGeehan’s late runs in to the box will hopefully have us scoring again.

    442.

I’d move Brown up with Woodrow, with Victor and Bahre to come on second half if required.

Green and Williams interchangeable, one to start one on bench, depending on opponent:

    Davies

    Cavare
    Pinnock
    Lindsay
    Pinillos

    Green/J Williams
    McGeehan
    Mowatt
    Thiam

    Brown
    Woodrow

    Subs
    Walton
    Jackson
    B Williams
    Adeboyejo
    Bahre
    Styles
    Green/J Williams
