    Are you sure he doesn’t.
Is he a steward - he sits facing the stand?
Cos he obviously isn’t facing the pitch.

Hamill was great when he was here but he didn't fit into our team as we play . He hasn't shone for Scunny.

I think if you did a bit of research you may find one or two other players that haven’t done much since leaving TARN.
Hammill should have been kept on at the club.
This programme of developing our own young players is great but we should also retain a few older players.

You go out in the garden for a few hours and come back to find Whitey doesn't even go to the matches! And there was me thinking it was him that did the videos at the end!
Just goes to show that you can always be put straight by those among us who have the insight to see what the rest of us can't.

He was great in league one, but for two seasons he was found wanting in the championship.

Time 3 years since he was really affective. He's now 3 years older and can't get regular football for scunny, who aren't great.

    Thanks for the memories Adam.

    Another with a short memory.
Start of 2017 / 2018 season I said Hammill would struggle in the Championship.
But he was absolutely brilliant for the first half of that season - he ran his blood to water.
    Fantastic effort.
We were struggling but he was always around MOTM.
    Then came Morais.

Nowt wrong with my memory. I actually go to the games. The team did well, but Hamill struggled.

He had his moments like when he scored at wolves and against bristol City at home, but there's no way he was as effective in the championship as league one.

    Jeez.
Suggest looking at some recorded games from first part of 17/18 season.
We were left short of players at that time and it seemed to me that Hammill was trying to make up for those downfalls by working his ballaxs off.
And for people to now belittle him after all that effort is quite disgusting.

As for your comment about a player having less impact when moving from one league into a higher league is laughable - doesn’t that apply to ALL players.

No one is belittling him or questioning his effort. Merely saying, in my opinion he has never reached the heights of his league one performances.

Hamill will always be a reds hero to all of us, but the time was right for him to leave.

He's playing at this level. He's not even starting games. If he was really that good, don't you think scunthorpe would be using him?
