    Hi All,

I know its off topic but anyone know the best (cheapest) place to get some garden turf from?

I am after 84sqm, multiple people said they would come out and quote but never turn up.

    Thanks

    where abouts is Sykes?
ive seen them advertised but cant find an address or anything or even any reviews.

i was going to seed it but live where a lot of animals get in the garden so would probably destroy the seed, also need it laying quick lol

I was recommended Sykes back in October when I layed my back garden but they had problem harvesting the turf around that time so ended up getting it from turfonline.co.uk who are part of the Harrowden Turf group. Have to say it was seemless and delivered on time and has come up lovely after a few months since laying.

Put some wire mesh down or string's just as good. That'll keep animals off. You're better seeding it in long run and it's a lot cheaper.

Yep agreed. I live in the middle of nowhere lots of wildlife and had no problems - didn’t use an netting - if you lay the seed the grass will prevail and it roots in much better than turf

Huddersfield Town. They've got some 100metres by about 60metres. Omly been down since August and not had football (or rugby for that matter) played on it yet!
