For certain ... Donny will roll over and have their belly tickled Friday by Sunderland...
Peterborough and Coventry win and it becomes wide open for that final spot again

Happy with Donny getting a draw.

Sunderlands cb's look a shambles so I suspect Marquis and Wilks to be a real threat.

Home and away tables here https://www.soccerstats.com/homeaway.asp?league=england3

Donny are right up there in the home table, as are Burton who play Pompey at home. Pity Donny aren't at home, but still capable.

Charltons game at Oxford isn't straight forward either.

Hopefully a couple of draws amongst that little lot, and a win for the reds.

I think the Burton Portsmouth result is massive for us. It’s a real opportunity for them to drop points and puts them at arms length if we manage to win.

I think Sunderland are bound to drop more points beyond Friday (probably against Portsmouth or Peterborough).

Portsmouth are the danger for me

Friday could potentially be a very good day for ourselves looking at the fixtures, however you’d expect us to be favourites but Shrewsbury are in decent form and would see this as a huge scalp so I wouldn’t say we have an easy game either.

Let’s hope this time next week were 6 points better off and I’d be very confident we could do this. I cannot see Pompey and Sunderland taking maximum points from their next two games so it’s a must we do.

Sunderland have a problem, play 2 up front and leak goals but also score them.Against better teams or teams of a similar standard and more likely to lose. Old system of one up front gives a tighter defence but also more draws.

Nobody contemplating Luton losing another and opening Top spot up to within 1 win? Stranger things have happened.

PS.. My triple bet of Luton, Pompey & Sunderland worked a treat.

I shall be partaking in the same exercise on Friday. We just need to get three points under our belts, Sunderland late kick off so a win would add extra pressure to them again.

I posted previously about How important Posh’s win was at Blackpool on Setdy, Donny still have them on their tails and still need points

Yeah, there is a bit of niggle between Accy and Luton. You would expect Luton to win, but you just never know.

Donny must be looking over their shoulder and seeing the results Burton and Coventry are getting too, I know they've got some ground to make up but they're ready to pounce on any knocking knees Donny get. Might work in our favour and Donny could look at this as a potential winnable game, but I doubt it.

Again with Luton id love them to get panicking after last weekends results but I haven't seen anything of Stanley to danger Luton, I think they'll go up comfortably as champions and you have to take your hat off to them, thoroughly deserved.

I think it may be some sort of club record if they beat Sunderland for wins on the bounce I'd take a draw as long as we win.

I think Donny will turn the marra's over and I'm going for a draw Pompey v Burton, Oxford you could say are safe so I reckon Charlton will win quite comfortably, COYR

Regarding the Oxford result, I'm guessing Karl Robinson will want to get one over on his former club. I don't think they would've parted on good terms.

Luton are another poor result away from being pulled back into it. Hopefully they'll be kicking off on Saturday only 2 points ahead of us, which could bring it's own pressure. I'm pretty sure they have to play Burton as well.

This weekend is massive now. Sunderland and Pompeys games in hand are only any good if they win their other games, and our goal difference is worth a point to us as a bit of assurance, but we have to keep winning too.

I think Luton will still win the league, but it won't be by the comfortable margin we thought.

    Their remaining fixtures are;
    Accrington (A)
    Wimbledon (H)
    Burton (A)
    Oxford (H)

I deep down expect them to still win the league in all honesty, however if they don't take maximum points at Accrington and we win both games this weekend their knees will well and truly start knocking. Burton away is a banana slip for everyone, look at us and Sunderland both getting beat there.

Charlton probably have the most favourable run in and are bang in form.

They do but even if they win their last 4 games they are relying on us not winning 2 of our last 4 and Pompey and Sunderland failing to win 2 of their last 5. Drop a single point and the game is up for them now - I still think Pompey are our biggest threat as they are also in a good run of form
