No idea about the oxford game, but how was he pathetic in the southend game. Brown was reckless and many refs would have sent him off, and he didn't actually send mcgeehan off or ban him retrospectively.
He completely missed/ignored a very similar challenge by a Southend player that didn't even get a booking. I don't think the Brown foul was a red, but if you're gonna send him off you have to have consistency with other challenges for the rest of the game. He didn't.
