We could do with all the areas of the ponty and east stand being made available before we worry about the west stand.
If we go up and increase the attendance by 5000+ I would claim the away stand and stick away support in the old West Stand.
Not only that I dont think its big enough - I think its required to make 10% of tickets available to away fans if at all possible but there is only around 2/5 of the West stand closed (Blocks A and B) which is less than 2000 seats. If the attendence does increase I think the only realistic short term option is to 1 Open up the whole of the west for home fans and if that is full 2 Split the north stand - assuming we can get approval to do that
One of the reasons i raised the post was. when the teams come out of the tunnel its the away fans they here singing , be nice to get our fans in that corner drowning the away end oyt
We need to take back control of our newts. When we can finally make our own newts other countries will be lining up to trade with us.
After the recent Notre Dame catastrophe, the West Stand now has the oldest staircase in Western Europe.
The part that is never used is where I first stood as a 3 year old in 1972, remaining there for the glory years of Clarke, Hunter/ Collins. I would love, one day, to return there and stand once more. For now I make do with sitting in the uncovered bit of the other side, thanking God For the West Stand bogs and maintaining a healthy disregard for billion pound football grounds.
Like it! Crested Newts are protected by EU wildlife regulations.. I'll bet they voted remain..!! Smashing little animals..
