Just had a glance on the club site, it states that 400 tickets are left for this fixture. Meaning over 800 tickets have been sold, that's always a cracking effort for Plymouth especially on a date where most folk will be working the day after ruing out stopping over as would've been my preference if it was a Saturday game. I'm guessing I aint the only one who is waiting to see how Fridays game goes before committing to this one, so if we win could the majority of these tickets go and have over a thousand commit to the trip?
In slightly surprised it's not sold out, but then a lot of people (me included) will be put off by the distance and the fact they've got work early the next day.
This is it mate, I'm in the same situation as yourself it's a long time traveling going up and down in the day. I believe if it was a Saturday they would've gone, look at how many we took to Portsmouth, double the amount we've been given for this.
7 am start on the official coach on a bank holiday is a long day. Folks to get ready will be having to wake up not long after 5 am. The club should have thought about putting together a one night package deal where it sets off around 9-10 on Saturday morning and involves everyone staying at the same hotel somewhere.
6am! I was CERTAIN it was 7am. I accidentally clicked the Plymouth coach details when I was buying Bristol Rovers tickets. It said 6am, and I 'knew' it was wrong. Got home. Checked. It's 6am. And I don't live in Barnsley and don't drive. Fun!
Yeah I see it's showing 6 am..... https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2019/march/plymouth-tickets/ When the article was first posted it said 7 that's for sure 100% that's what it said I agree. Must have been a mistake or they heard news of road works and decided to change to an hour earlier. For these early starts our club wouldn't struggle to sell a overnight stay package offer.
Manchester.... £124 at last check! Sat in marmaris at the minute and booked with athersley reds Monday on coach!
I was thinking same, On yer Tyke, which makes me a bit fickle. However it seems we can't wait for the outcome of Friday .......... need to buy before. Decisions, decisions. "The postage deadline for this game is 3pm Wednesday 17th April. Tickets will remain on sale from the Box Office/Reds Superstore until 2pm Friday 19th April 2019, subject to availability."
With the fares they advertise for coach travel no doubt you’ld be looking at £250 for a night’s b&b lol
Aye, but I've missed the postage date before (Think it was forest away around new year or some bank holiday) the club just took them to the ground and I collected from Forest's away ticket office. I imagine this would be the same.
That's what I'm planning! I wanted to stay up all night ahead of Southend but dropped off at about midnight. Luckily I'd set an alarm, but I have been known to ignore them and oversleep.
Seems a bit strange we arent selling after 2pm on Friday is the box office closed Easter Saturday then. I cant go this year but have seen us at Plymouth before on the rare occasions we have played then on a Saturday
Aye, but either post or box office ...... matters not ..... you can't wait for the outcome of Fridays game!
Oh yeah sorry I didn't read it properly. Well that's a strange time to stop selling. Looks like ill be missing this one then.
