How many years is that now? I renewed mine the day they went on sale and it will be my 18th Year watching us
16 th S/T. Never bothered with season tickets although rarely missed an home game since the early seventies apart from prem season When I was out of work and couldn’t afford to go , got the odd few where mates couldn’t get but missed most of that season as I could just about afford one but needed one plus two juniors and just couldn’t do it . . Used to watch em in sixties missed a few for one reason or another . Not bad to say I was nearly always on three shift pattern . Pit afters were ideal but nights were s killer , been Late a few times
Sadly only the 4th in a row due to serving in the RAF and being located hundreds of miles away. Now settled in Lincoln so can get to all the games.
22 years although went on a game by game basis prior to Prem season. Needed one to guarantee a seat in Prem and have renewed ever since.
Bought mine off reverend Preedy. When he mentioned forming a team many years b4 we were founded. Thus I’m a founder member. We must know each other. I’m a lot older than I look btw.
My first was 1887 and i’ve had one ever since. Which, I think you will agree, makes me rather ‘Wednesdayesq’ in my support.
Just had a look back on the internet, actually bought mine online in 1363, when we were known as Bernesleigh, which is old speak for "charming meadow by the tinkly stream", which is an apt name for the area before the dung mines were founded. I've got my receipt from Micheal of Ye Spinkes, paid two nogs of ale and an old maid's fart. Bargain.
