Hope that's right BHW. Jay Lynch had a good season with AFC Fylde but at the age of 29, you would
have expected him to have played a fair few games in the Football league. That unfortunately is not the case.
He's actually played in a total of two games in the EFL. The step up from Non- League to the
Championship is massive and surely we can't throw him in at the deep end.?

To have any ambition of surviving next season, it's imperative that we get the spine of our team
right. Last term, Davies, Pinnock and Woodrow/ Moore were all outstanding. We need more of the
same next season. If Davies does go, at the very least, we have to bring a keeper in that has
had some experience in the EFL.

If as per usual, we are looking for young prospects who we can sign for a realistic fee, in the hope
we can improve them and then sell them on for a big profit, we could do a lot worse than take a
serious look at Exeter City's keeper Christy Pym. He's a Devon lad born and bred, stands at 6 feet
and has kept goal for the England Under 20 team, plus at the age of 24 years old he fits our profile.

Last season, he was a standout performer for the Grecians, conceding 42 goals in 45 games.
The other plus, is that his current deal at St James Park ends in June. Be interesting to see what
    happens in the coming weeks.

Jack Walton for me should be given a chance what I have seen of him and I know it as only been a few games he's not let us down and showed promise.
