As was said by the commentator on last nights game, after watching both playoffs I now wonder why I was ever afraid these two would catch us. Very disjointed and overall poor especially by Pompey.

Agreed. I thought Pompey were poor. A few small chances from Hawkin but nowt major, didn’t look to be much threat, Pitman can’t even run. Jamal Lowe looked ok for the 1st 5 or 10 mins after coming off the bench but that’s about it. Makes me wonder i we only got draws out of them. Oh well, like it was said ‘the best 2 teams went up’ YOU REDS!

They definitely had one major chance when the lad missed an header from point blank range. To be fair to the keeper he made a cracking stop. This season I've rated the Sunderland keeper, its a pity he's 31 otherwise he'd be a brilliant replacement for Davies.

The best 2 footballing sides definitely got automatic, every time I've seen Pompey on the telly this season or seen them in person they have been very unimpressive as a team and same could be said for Sunderland.

I think if Charlton go through against Doncaster tonight, they are certainly a more of a complete team than Sunderland.

Pompey were absolute gash. Poor last night, poor at our place and only slightly better at theirs. One dimensional, direct and not often pleasing on the eye. It seemed like they only wanted to score with headers.

Sunderland fans must be very frustrated at only making the playoffs. They actually have some decent players and pass the ball better than Pompey, but is something amiss with them like they can't get into to gear often enough.

If Marras meet Charlton in the final, I think it'll be a cracker. Unlike last night's affair.

I think the Marras would comfortably beat Doncaster.

Charlton are likely to be a different proposition, however. I think a repeat of 1998 or whenever it was would be on the cards.

Sunderland's Wembley performances is dire, so the law of averages suggests a win eventually. Mind you, so does QPR away for us and that won't change.

There's a lovely irony in Sunderland fans complaining like mad about too many draws and not enough goals whilst winning 1-0 and then 0-0. :)

He used to be a decent player. Strong, direct and quick, but I think he had a bad injury and never quite the same.

Scored against us in the 2-2 draw at Huddersfield and was a handful.

Disagree. I think they have BOTH consistently played with 11 players

    Agreed.
All 3 games so far have been shockingly poor.
