not sure if mentioned already. Just read us and forest green looking at him. Free agent keeper from Bristol rovers. Played only 10 times this season as was no.2. Is that a relevant replacement for Davies if he goes? Only rumours probably but....

Social liberal or proto-capitalist? My jury's still out... :)

Many credit his paper on the wealth of Nations as being the birth of economics and his observations on pin manufacture as being a catalyst for the industrial revolution. No idea if he could command his penalty area though.

All about division of labour mate and knowing your role within the greater plan... which you'd like to think is obvious to a goalie.. :)

I’m not normally one to go on the moral high ground, but given his exploits in Thailand whilst at Leicester I’m not sure I want him at the club even if he was the new Lev Yashin. Especially when you consider the racial slur element of it. Not for me, not if we are serious about being a family club and wanting to grow in all markets. Yes he was young and yes he’s apologised - but I’m not sure. Suppose he deserves the second chance he was given, though is he what we need? Is he good?

As it is he’s a 26 year old goalkeeper who’s had two seasons first choice, one in league two at Northampton, followed by two seasons as backup at a lower end league one team, so I’m not sure he’s the right player either.

His hidden hand will enable him to make even more saves.

Probably not, as most modern day economists argue it was a metaphor at best. Stiglitz rather pithily said: "The reason it is invisible is that it's often not there", so I don't hold out much hope this lad could deploy it if we signed him, great reference though mate. Just out interest do you have any economics qualifications?

Rumour is , we are after another Adam from Sunderland. Adam Mathews is 27, so doesn't
really fit our profile, but it's claimed that us and QPR want him. Sunderlands only hope of
hanging on to him, rest on being promoted, because he makes no secret of wanting to
play at a higher level. Must stress at this stage it is just a rumour.

    Nope.

I am an expert in nothing at all, but I have read little bits about lots of things.

I highly doubt our championship regular keeper next season will be someone who struggled to get a game for a team that only just stayed up in the league we have been promoted from.

Any bloke on the back of an English banknote must be worth a 'punt'. Well in Ireland.
