    It was rejected

    Motherwell wanted double that amount

    We said no

    They accepted Celtics £3million bid

    I have no.idea what has occurred since. (Agent or player or both not happy with the terms?)

    Turnbull was offered 10k a week according to a Glasgow rag, we wont pay that, blows all our pay structure. This is the inherent problem with big money players, they come with big money wage demands.

    I heard we paid hammill that last time we were in the championship but can't see us paying 2million say then 10k a week on a 3/4year deal.

    The fee Celtic offered and the wages we'd be looking at a deal worth around five million pounds over a four year contract.

    I don't think we should be getting excited that not agreeing terms with Celtic means we are in with a chance.
