Bairstow played on. We are in big trouble here and make no mistake. As I've said before bottle and nerve required, but looks easier said than done at this stage. Stokes could be our saviour.
They keep putting up predictors that say England should still win but I think New Zealand are comfortably the favourites at the moment. We can’t get going. Needs someone to knock The bowlers off line and put on a few quick runs and get the momentum to swing back our way. And I don’t see it coming at the moment
So currently in an England men's World Cup Final there isn't a single English man commentating on Sky TV.
So? Sky's commentary is great. Isa Guha is brilliant. It's an international sporting event and having different perspectives is brilliant. Athers back on too.
Each to their own. As much as I hate cricket being on pay tv sky's cricket coverage is fantastic, has been for years because of people like Holding, Warne etc. And all countries do it. They rotate in and out of each other's commentary boxes. And who was the voice of English cricket pre-sky? Richie Benaud, an Aussie. As for thinking a woman shouldn't be commentating, that's just ridiculous
We could have had an india/australia final. It's a world cup which is why we have multi-country commentary.
Typical BBS response to focus on the minority agenda. You've managed to twist my post into an attack on the feminist agenda, where as I was more put out by my perceived joy of the non-English commentators at England's struggles (on a channel I pay a subscription for).
I’ve no complaints with the commentary. Just much more concerned that New Zealand are starting to run away with this. That was a phenomenal catch to get rid of Morgan. Really can’t see England winning now
Rolls eyes. You told me to draw my own conclusions after reinforcing the fact that it wasn't a man commentating when I pointed out there was an English person commentating. If you don't have a problem with a woman commentating, and that wasn't your intention to suggest so you clearly agree with my point so why the offence?
