At least they battled second half. 3 changes needed for me...Cavare has to come back in, Mowett captain is a must and they need to have a defensive midfielder infront of back 4.
No point singling individuals out, we need to get behind the team, whoever plays.
Hard lesson learned today, again mistakes will be punished.
I still believe we will be ok.

Par for the course in any collected group of football fans on the internet who all echo each others' (mostly incorrect and hyperbolic) thoughts.
As soon as things turn sour it is no longer enough to question the ability of the players or even the potential of the players to improve and succeed, rather it is the time to look for more deep seated and nebulous yet predominantly fantastical ideas about how the club is being run by malicious capitalist vultures and that we are doomed forevermore to toil in the limbo of yo-yo.
I agree. Before we question the system, let's question the football. Possibly we could strive towards constructive criticism.

Luton eased off in the second half but yes we were better than we were in the first half (it wasn't difficult though).

The championship is a big step up but we were playing Luton who we competed with last season. Today they looked infinitely better than us in first half when the game was all but won.

We have to improve significantly and fast.

I believe we need better, more experienced players. But that’s not the plan.

That’s fine. But can you explain exactly what are the motives are of our ‘wealthy’ owners? Have to confess I’m at a loss...

Do you think they would deliberately set Stendel up for relegation? Is this a serious theory that you are willing to stand by?

Absolutely not. But what are they trying to do? The cynic in me is looking for a financial motive but I’m honestly at a loss. Why would ‘billionaires’ be basing the ownership of a football club on ‘buy cheap and hope to make a killing’? It’s a mystery.

First time I've posted this season but have been following your progress hoping that you do well. You've had a high turnover of players and it always takes time for new lads to settle in and the manager to find his best side.

You've taken points of Charlton and Fulham so you know you can compete with the better teams in the championship.

Have you found it a big step up in class? I must admit after our first couple of games we were a bit relieved we didn't go up as we were that bad we would be a certainty for relegation but we seem to have steadied the ship with 3 league wins off the belt including a 3-1 against a poor Wimbledon team today.

Anyway I genuinely hope you lads and lasses are feeling better soon after you get some more wins under your belts.

    Good luck!

The step up in class isn’t helped by selling your best players and replacing them with potential. Going to be a long season. Good luck to you. Pretty sure you’ll do it this time.

That's quite difficult when fans are telling you you're all not ready for this level and are basically sh*t.

Look, I don't mean to disprove any theories that anybody has about the inner workings of the club at its highest level, however as it stands this should be a crisis purely restricted to football matters rather than business. Our pettifogging and deconstruction of whatever may be happening financially is a long term concern - what should worry us right now is how this particular squad of players (which we are stuck with) are going to perform. Speculation not supported by any factual basis will not be of assistance so if concerns arise they ought to be concerning football primarily.

Our CB partnership of Diaby and Anderson looked pretty strong & we kept our best striker in Woodrow. Next game looks hard , with Diaby & Woodrow out. Need some majick....

Except some of us do want to understand the factors that created the crisis. It’s obviously your prerogative to ignore such issues. Just as it’s mine to worry about them.

We didnt need to improve, we just had to maintain the performance v Fulham. All of a sudden the midfield don't seem to know one another.

Think everyone needs to forget about the Fulham game. Seems we caught them cold on the first day of the season.

I think "crisis" is slightly overdoing it but I understand your point. My issue with it - is that when we try to guess at what the powers that be might have in mind for our club without any evidence for those claims, we might fall into the trap of aimless theorising and possibly the assumption of a much worse future than actually exists? Nobody is saying that we shouldn't scrutinise what the owners are doing but we're only five games in and I think we ought to start small, and if things get irretrievably bad, then we can start doomsday preparations.

To be fair I think you mentioned ‘crisis’ first. In terms of life this is nothing like a crisis. It’s just disheartening when many of us were hoping for better. Naively as it turns out.
