Maybe they’ll get a small fine! Or a points deduction, if it makes no difference at all like Brum

FFP is a joke there will always be ways round it you break it you get a disproportionate fine unless of course you are Barnsley then mcgeehan will be banned for 3 matches as well

Good on them I know their owner hasn't been happy about it for a while.

The EFL will be praying that Derby finish outside the playoffs and clear of relegation. Then they can fine them 10 meaningless points at the end of the season and pretend they've taken action.

"His unruly hairstyle obscured the view of the match officials". Clearly a breach of rule 45a.

Bang on. Barnsley F.C is a yo yo club thanks to FFP.

It's a double edged sword though. Had we not adhered to FFP two years early we wouldn't have had to place Mark Robins on gardening leave and appoint Keith Hill and sign Scot Wiseman and Tom Kennedy.

If we hadn't been relegated the plan wouldn't have been stumbled upon.

It's like Terminator with Mark Robins being Sarah Connor.

Remember this is an action against the EFL not against Derby or anyone else who have done the cheating and as such it won’t be allowed to happen.
Every Club that has lost points and as a consequence lost out financially would then be open for compensation claims and no fine or penalty passed on to the offending clubs would be big enough to meet that cost.
Another example of the EFL being powerless to control the blatant cheating by the Big Boys.

The Efl changed the rules over fixed asset sales to include the buying/selling of the stadia as part of the p&l reporting.

The problem is that Derby’s independently valued ground worth 40m was sold for 80m based on an independent valuation.

Gibson’s well within his rights to kick off.

Or sell the ground to his self for 90000m of make believe spreadsheet money.

I hope they’re successful. Love to see teams like derby, Wednesday and reading all be relegated.

Maybe we should sue Bolton too for relegating us through breaching FFP. Maybe at this current time that wouldn’t go down too well with the rest of the country. But personally I’d love us to do it.

So who are you supposed to sue...the clubs taking the mick out of the rules or the EFL for having weak as dishwater rules?
    Either would be good.

Reading about it today. Mel Morris would sell the ground for 30 million. Yet it was sold for 80 million. Then on the club books it's worth 41 million.

Something is very fishy and doesn't add up so the EFL have rightly appointed independent auditors to assess the value.
