I’m DJing with my hero. Along with John Digweed, which has already (unbelievably been ticked off 3 times), Sasha was always the one I never imagined I would ever play with. I know this is a bit self gratifying but it’s not meant to be, but 20 years ago when I was getting spannered and travelling the country watching my hero’s play to 1000s of people, I never thought I’d get the chance to meet him let alone book and play on the same decks. To me it’s like playing up front for Barnsley and England. As much as I tried to be a footballer I was never good enough. Hopefully my train home on Sunday morning with Leeds fans isn’t too shitty. Fantastic mate. That is one hell of a gig. Well done. I've read a lot of your posts before & we should have a catch up at some point re music. Progressive house, or whatever it's called now isn't something I listen to a lot, but Sasha & Digweed are clearly legends & I've caught them a few times on my travels. Train from Leeds will be lousy. I'm driving down & staying at Premier Inn, so I can have a few beers (I only do this one or two games a season). Past times I've done the train has been unbearable.I'm sure you'll be buzzing, so WTF!
Used to listen to Digweed (amongst others) mixes when we were smashed years ago, never seen him live. Pleased for you
I hope you're going straight to the match! I rolled out of Gatecrasher, went home for a beer then steeled myself for Oakwell a few times when we had a Sunday fixture back in the day!
