    It’s called ‘context’.
    Women are statistically ‘at risk’
Therefore women feel they’re more at risk
Therefore the FA offer them a safe environment to train

Then some Neanderthals see that as ‘unequal’, and when confronted with facts just get even more confused.

Thank **** my daughters are too smart for some of the utter nobs that have posted here.

Having done my L2 coaching badges I have some experience to comment on this. Would you like it if your Wife was doing the course and a male walked up to her and asked "Are you a Lesbian?" There is also the physical side too. Women in general are not as strong as men. I have coached with and played with female internationals and ex pros and the ordinary women in the street aren't physically strong enough to compete with Sunday League players. The odd one maybe. The courses are very difficult physically as you can be playing from 9 in the morning till 4. I was 45 when I did my 1st Badge and the majority of the group were 18-20 year old sport students. The only other older guy dropped out injured as did 2-3 of the very fit youngsters. An all female group would be better balanced and better able to survive the physical side of the course's. As someone has commented it provides a safe environment.

It’s at times like these I’m reminded of the words of the great James Brown when he said

    “This is a man’s world
But it wouldn’t be nothin without a woman or a girl”

So you’d be happy if your daughter ended up in a relationship with a bloke with some of the views expressed here?

Well done; at least you stick to your principals :) (or do you?)

The military is / as gone down that route, the Royal Artillery were, I think, the first to open up all roles to women, nothing but a train crash, they have been given less manual jobs such as signalers/ drivers which means the more physical roles are done by the blokes which in turn effects retention because they are pulling there bags out and not being rotated, the Infantry opened it up to women about a year ago all in the name of equality, Not one as passed at the ITC ( infantry training centre) at Catterick. Dont get me wrong i have worked alongside some outstanding female soldiers who are and have been a credit to themselves and the service but in the case of the Infantry and the Artillery we need to stop with the madness all in the name of appeasment

You can never go wrong with a James Brown quote, in most cases. I think he was guilty of domestic abuse though, so maybe not this thread.

"For the remainder of his life, Brown was repeatedly arrested for domestic violence. Adrienne Rodriguez, his third wife, had him arrested four times between 1987 and 1995 on charges of assault. In January 2004, Brown was arrested in South Carolina on a domestic violence charge after Tomi Rae Hynie accused him of pushing her to the floor during an argument at their home, where she suffered scratches and bruises to her right arm and hip. Later that year in June 2004, Brown pleaded no contest to the domestic violence incident, but served no jail time. Instead, Brown was required to forfeit a US$1,087 bond as punishment."

The most feared sniper of WW2 was a Russian woman called Vasily Zaitsev. She killed somewhere over 250 German soldiers, including 11 snipers.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vasily_Zaitsev_(sniper)

Also in WW2, Tito had 100,000 female soldiers in the 600,000 Yugoslavia National Liberation Army.

25% of the Eritrean Army in the Eritrea-Ethiopia conflict were female. 27% of the South African military is female.

Israel conscripts women into the military.

    But, appeasement.

Isnt Google brilliant, you quoted % of women in the military, I never lambasted the % of women serving, my point wasn't about numbers but about certain roles which can have a detrimental effect, btw only 4% of women IDF soldiers are front line, they are predominantly used as " combat support"
There was a trial at lymston last year ran by the RM's prior to the roll out of females being allowed to join, they cherry picked a top Army PTI ( not the marines but the powers that be) she started the 32 week commando course and jacked it after 2 weeks. Like I said earlier I have worked with some fantastic, professional women in my time and the vast majority of them think its absolute madness
