So, that’s the protest plan I understand. It get’s to the 21st minute of the game against Swansea, and they all turn their backs to the pitch for a minute to show their disapproval at events over recent days. Interesting.
Sounds rubbish to me. The board know we are pissed off without us doing a Poznan. We are in the ground, they already have our cash and don't lose out in any way. If you want to show disapproval and hit them in the pocket then if we get drawn at home in the FA Cup don't go regardless of opposition.
Might be a good idea to turn away from the pitch several times during the game. Then we don't see Swansea scoring loads of goals.
I'm all up for a protest, but I don't think that's the right way to go. Personally, I think we should sing his name.
Sing his name loudly before the game and at halftime maybe periodically thru the game but surely back the team to the rafters most of the game.
I think my fellow BBS colleagues are misunderstanding my original post. It’s not a protest by the fans disapproval of the actions of the Board. It’s a protest by the Board disgusted by the actions of the fans, and determined to show their annoyance. Can’t think why they’ve chosen the 21st minute.
Presumably reference to the Chronicle article. 21 words in the Conway statement. I think anti Conway chant at 21 would be appropriate.
I'll be trying to get behind the team. If people want to protest, fair do's, but get behind the players & the caretaker manager at the match. It is a very tough game & we need to try & get some sort of result to stay in contention.
