Fairly decent performance but let down by a lapse of defensive concentration and poor decision making in the attacking third. Slightly surreal atmosphere
Well to be fair we should have been out of sight before the 2nd half were he made 2 or 3 good saves and got motm
todays performance was let down by atrocious finishing not defending. They should have been buried by half time.
Thought we were second bottom? Got a bit of hope from today’s performance tbh while ever there’s fight there’s hope .
I can’t say I feel any more or less hopeful. We have a team that struggles where it matters at both ends of the pitch. Performances of Dougall and Bambi definitely a plus.
Think we probably played to our maximum today and can’t fault the lads for effort but yet again our best isn’t good enough in this tough league and i can’t see us getting out of the bottom three but like I say the lads gave everything today.
We played really well against a very good Swansea team that are at the top of the table. We were much more organised and actually looked a threat going forward, all major plusses in my book. We would have won against 60/70% of other championship teams today. If we play like that against Huddersfield we will win. I was as devastated as the next bloke when Stendel got sacked, and I was as angry as the next bloke at the board for their pathetic statement and their percieved lack of care for anyone other than themselves of late, but to keep on moaning and being defeatist is not helping anyone and for people to be complaining about todays performance is just beyond a joke. Who on here, hand on heart believed before kick off that we would take a point off Swansea? Not many I would wager. So lets see this game for what it was, a hard fought point against a good side earned by a group of young lads who's confidence must be in the gutter. This is a massive point for us, it has shown the players that they can play against these sides and come out with something, that we can play in a formation where we don't concede for fun. There is a time and place for doomsday prophets and naysayers, today is not that day, have a day off. COYR!
Happy with the performance, and the changes, but a bit disappointed we didn't win the game. It's a tough old league when you play so well but still don't win.
It’s disheartening when you see the Luton and Charlton results today and realise how far and quickly we’ve fallen behind them.
Said it last week and will say it again just to be repetitive........I do believe that this group, once better organised (like today) will be good enough to keep us up; despite their inexperience. But hey ho.......you can't win owt with kids.
