I didn't go, I opted for some overtime. I'll go back when I regain some interest. Not throwing my toys out of the pram either btw.
Quite a few empty seats, maybe for various reasons, but there wasn’t the full complement of season ticket holders there. 4 old boys next to me weren’t there, and they never miss games.....
True Gordon. Apart from a few on here I don't know of anyone personally who boycotted the game cos of the Stendel issue. In fact a couple attended who have missed the last couple of games. The boycotters seem to want to influence others. But fail miserably. If anyone doesn't want to go. Feel free and stay at home. Put your slippers on and watch telly. 1 on Facebook said they wasn't going to watch us get hammered. Once went to Tranmere. Played em off park and got hammered. Such is life
12,188 v Brentford, not got the figures for the away support though. Before the season started I'd guess those games along with Reading & Bristol C would be the lowest crowds.
There were 320 Brentford fans, making it 11,860 home fans. Yesterday 12,424 minus 734 Swansea fans makes 11,690 home fans. So one win in 11 before the game, slaughtered by a L2 team and knocked out of the tin cup, manager sacked, turmoil and meltdowns on the forums, and we still attract 11,690 home supporters. Also there weren't that many regulars missing so it was certainly around that figure give or take a few. Good effort all round and rewarded by a very good improved display which gives hope for the future
Did i miss something? Was there supposed to be a boycott? If so the Swansea fans supported it and stayed at home in force.
