Watching on Quest now. On replay .ours wasnt a penalty. I think I'd fancy myself to take Scmidts goal though.

 

I've been watching us since the 1960's and can honestly say during that time I believe I've seen more Barnsley strikers miss that kind of opportunity than I've seen take them.

 

I didn't think our shout for one was a penalty when I saw it in real time.

 

I thought that too.

Murray was fuming though. Looked to say if it wasn’t a penalty, why haven’t you booked him for a dive?

 

Too much time to think aint good, the lad took it well.

 

I wasn't sure it was a dive either, there seemed to be some contact but the way he went down was far too theatrical. I discussed it with a guy who sits next to me and we both said "never a penalty".

 

It didn’t look like a penalty in hindsight. Looked as though he knew he’d overran it and tried to compensate by getting a penalty. Didn’t look to be much contact with their penalty either, but Mowatt was daft for going in like that.

I’d put my money on the majority of our team not being capable of finishing off the Schmidt goal. It looks simple but so many f*ck it up.

 

Kayodi would have buried that

 

Could have done with Schmidt at the 1:10 mark.......



Incredible how similar the Schmidt goal yesterday was to the Odejayi miss at Wembley.
