The shortlist seems to be Mowatt, Woodrow and Brown as they are the main saleable assets. On current form Mowatt will be gone for me but teams are always looking for a goal scorer so bids will be made for Woodrow too. On a side note I think Thiam and Cav will probably be offloaded on cheap back to France......

People have said this the last few windows and it’s not happened.
Be very surprised if mowatt and Woodrow aren’t sold. They are clearly our best performers and clubs know we are open for business. Not sure Brown has shown enough yet.

I hope if we are selling players we are selling those we want to replace with better - Thiam Cavare, McGeehan etc
The last 2 players we should be thinking of selling are Woodrow and Mowatt so I hope we keep them both
Struber has already made noises about how important Mowatt is so I think if we do sell one it will be Woodrow.

A lot may depend on results in December though - if we can pick up a couple of wins and look like we might have a chance of survival we may hang on to both. If normal service is resumed and we only manage a draw or 2 I can see the club writing off the season and cashing in

It would be absolute madness to sell our only two championship-quality players in January.

But based on past decision making, I guess we can’t rule it out.

I know it's early days for Struber, but daft as it sounds he seems to be shoehorning Woodrow into the side. I'm not saying Woodrow can't play behind the front two, but he's an out and out striker who logically should be up top, but isn't being played there. For that reason, I'll hazard a guess that if we lose anyone from the usual starters it could be him. Question is, do we then replace him with a striker or with an attacking mid... or do we need both?

Struber will want to keep Mowatt if he has any hope of rescuing the season and I expect the board to back him. That said, if the offers come in and they can see a nice tidy profit, he could well be gone too. But if that happens, we're screwed.

I'd be looking to offload Cavare and Thiam. Possibly some loans out for Green, Simoes, maybe even Wilkes. He'd be better off playing somewhere than out shopping every Saturday.

And when we sell them you can come on and I told you so.
Mowatt and woodrow both signed new contracts last season, unlike winnall and hourihane, they're not approaching the last six months of they're deals.
Any sale from now on will be for top dollar, and we're in a position to turn bids fown

Obviously Woodrow will be sold for pittance. There might be a couple unexpected moving along, such as Dougall. Not that convinced Mowatt will leave, he seems to be settled and likes it here. But I suppose if a bid over 500k comes in, they'll accept.

I assume your 500k comment was tongue in cheek - but I guess if you change it to £5Million you could well be right about Mowatt or Woodrow. If we sold Moore for 3Million I cant see us taking anything less than 5 for Woodrow or Mowatt

    £5million for Mowatt?

You’re going to be disappointed I fear.

Woodrow playing in midfield, that is a bizarre one. He has tended to drop deep this season, though purely searching for the ball as we’ve not been getting him the chances.

He is obviously good enough to play there too as he is one of the few we have with championship ability. But he should clearly be up front. I know we won well on Saturday and him playing there worked then, but I think there’s something more to this. Call me a pessimist, but...

We can’t dig out the board for selling our best and only proper centre forward in January, if by January he’s become a midfield player, and one of several ‘number 10’ options that could be played there instead.

Saturday was great but I’m not getting carried away. We’re still owned and run by the same outfit.

I really hope neither Woodrow or Mowatt are sold next month. I suspect at least one will be though, and realistically it might well be both.

It all does expends on how ambitious the owners really are. If they are up for the fight to stay up we should be offloading the fringe players and bringing in experience and loaners with a view to buy should we stay up. We did that with Bahre. If the owners are content to start again in League 1 then our two prize assets will be sold. If that happens we will have a good chance of promotion from League 1 next season but who wants to,start again. We should be doing all we can to stay up this season, consolidating in the Championship next season and having a go for the play-offs the season after that.

You can say I'm a dreamer..........

I can’t see us selling anyone to be honest.

We might release Pinnillos and Thiam. However Thiam seeems to be in favour with Struber as he’s back on the bench at the moment.

Might see a couple of fringe players go on loan - Styles and Walton for example (with recall clauses).

So for me, it’s just Pinnillos and maybe Thiam. And I think most would accept and understand the reasoning behind it. Although for relegation scrap they might keep both for back up.

Nobody of any significance unless a bid of at least £5m comes in.

It's this Halme in midfield instead of Dougall, Styles and Mcgeehan and Woodrow in midfield that concerns me too. I think you could be on the money.
