Windows 7 - touch pad doesn't move cursor for some reason - no problem with using mouse but would like to restore touchpad use.

(tried googling for advice but nothing worked)

    Thanks.

Uninstalling it may work when it reinstalls it

You've probably turned it off - one of the function keys has a picture of a mouse on - try pressing that

Some models of laptop it can be disabled by user. Double tap in top left or top right of touchpad see if it starts working. If that dont work, reinstall mouse pointer drivers or just upgrade it to Windows 10.

Many thanks for advice - pressed some keys then ran Spark Trust P C Cleaner and it's come to its senses.

    Cheers
