Some good publicity

    My birthday is on Friday and I decided that the third shirt would make a nice gift from someone. Anyway, it got delivered today not by Royal Mail but instead, Conor Chaplin and Ben Williams.

    We had a chat, took some pictures, got a signed ball so overall it was a nice gesture by the club. The club has taken a lot of hammer this season, particularly off the field, but I’d like to think that they’re generally good in the community and this enhances my opinion of that.

    As they were leaving I said “let’s get some good results going now” and Chaplin replied with “we’ll put some wins in the stockings” so we all have that to look forward to, it’s going to be a good month!

    Yeah, more like a resumption of the good deed rather than it being a new thing but I thought I’d pass on the good impressions made.
