    • I know of lads who played for Warnock at different Clubs. Like other "old school managers"re- Peter Reid, Brian Clough, Ron Atkinson, Alex Ferguson etc, ranting and raving, the proliferation of expletives and the throwing of tea cups was standard practice when things weren't going to plan. I wonder when looking back at that footage Warnock felt any embarrassment.? I have worked for bosses who thought they could rule by fear and bluster but it rarely worked, in fact the people I worked with generally held the said boss in contempt and failed to be " motivated" as a result.

If he'd spoken to me like that I'd have put him through the wall. Absolutely appalling management from a complete arsehole. The worst motivational speech I've probably ever seen.

What Managers like Warnock choose to ignore, is that at the end of the day, they train the players, they instruct them as to how they want them to play and they pick the team. When things go wrong and they start shouting and bawling and swearing, they fail to accept their own contribution or shortcomings and put all of the blame on the players.

That is probably why it was impressive recently when Radlinger made a mistake with a poor pass that cost us a goal, Struber took responsibility by saying he had asked the players to play the ball from the back and therefore his tactics were a contributory factor. That's what you can term as fair "collective " responsibility. Who wouldn't want to play for a bloke that accepted his share of any blame.?
