Train tickets Fulham help

    Just wondered if anyone knows why train fares to London that Saturday so expensive been on most sites carnt find nothing cheap ???

    I'm having the same issue. From what I understand there's a limited amount of trains allowed into London on that weekend whilst they upgrade Kings Cross again. Just our luck isn't it.

    Its the same every weekend up to the summer. Theres no finalised time tables yet for that Week.. Same from sheffiled unless they have updated over the last couple of days

    Kings Cross (and possibly other London stations) are shut on weekends for maintenance/engineering work.

    When I looked yesterday the reason is because (even at this late stage) LNER have not finalised their timetable that day (because of engineering works). That means that if you go onto sites like Trainline, they can only quote those (expensive) tickets that are currently on sale.
