Apparently in talks over signing Jordan Rhodes - where would that leave Moore? In my opinion at this level Rhodes is much a better player whilst holding the same attributes as Kieffer. Can't imagine they'd play them both up top?

Dread to think what Rhodes is on a week as well..

Two totally different players. One a a hold up player who wins headers and brings others into play and scores the odd goal.....the other an out and out goalscorer, who contributes far less to the team.
Its how you set you team and game play / tactics as to who is most valuable.

Don't know one Wednesday fan who rates Rhodes.
The fact he as a striker, bottled taking a penalty in the play off semi, has never been forgiven - but he has also been generally crap.

You'd rather have Kieffer Moore, over Jordan Rhodes, one of the most prolific goalscorers at this level, in the last decade? I'm all for rose tinted, but you should probably get your glasses checked.

Not sure? He qualifies for Wales through his maternal grandfather, I had an Irish grandfather but didn't recognise as Irish. But it's each to their own on that front, he also played for England C previously so I assumed he didn't feel Welsh until he started scoring goals and someone from the Welsh FA asked them to look into it?

In a crap team I'd probably take Moore. In a decent team Rhodes, easily.

This - From what I have seen of Wigan I think they would be better off with Moore.
I dont think Rhodes would suit us either but neither would Keiffer the way we are now playing but he would be a better fit than Rhodes

Rhodes was a good goalscorer in the early to mid part of his career...he's 30 soon and the last five years have not been very productive.

    App Goals
    2014/15....47 ..21
    15/16...44...17
    16/17...26...3
    17/18...35..7
    18/19...40...9
    19/20...13...3

I've excluded penalties from that list.

Not a great few years, but still comfortably outscored Kieffer in the Championship.

On gates of 9000 and increasing losses - another club heading for troubled waters imho
